One Body Two Heads +
An exploration of part to whole relationships in architecture taking Jeff Kipnis' reading of John Hejduk's work aka the Architectural Poetry Theorem. The constructed objects straddle the compositional logics of the modernist sum-of-parts and the classical sub-divided-wholes. All architectural structures are composed of parts of a dismantled canonical building and a "style template" is applied on to the recomposed, reconstitued structures. The context or site is post-rationalised through the qualities of the constructed objects.
