Objects of the Ruhrgebiet +
A collection of industrial cities along the Ruhr river in Germany produces landscapes that are saturated with infrastructure. The flora and fauna of this area have evolved around these structures producing what is commonly known as 'Industrial Nature'. Architecture, infrastructure, and geography become aggregated volumes, kit-bashed together to form objects that shift between the stereotomic and the tectonic, the grown and the assembled, the stacked and the piled.
