LLMs in the City *
LLMs in the City is an exploration of how multiple urban scales can be unfolded and read in dialogue with large language models. Taking Barcelona as both site and archive, the project treats the city as a repository of layered information: architectural, cultural, social, historical, and infrastructural, and uses LLMs as a means of querying, translating, and projecting that material. The project establishes a conversation between the situated knowledge of a place with indexical and generative multi-modal models using both natural and programming languages.
